Example 1

A very favorite kitchen of mine would have to be my kitchen at home.  It is quite large.  The floor is made of plastic tiles.  The tiles are like a checkerboard.  They are blue and white.  Each tile is about 6 inches in length and 6 inches in width.

Looking up from the floor, there are some cabinets coming up from the floor reaching about waist-high.  There are a blue to match the tiles and the handles are white.  On top of them there is a countertop.  It is white and very smooth.  The sink sits inside the countertop.  It is gray and has a long gray faucet.  An inch above the faucet there is the faucet handle.  It, also, is long and gray and when you pull it up water comes out of the faucet.  Inside the sink there is a dishcloth.  It is plaid.  The colors on it are gray and blue.  To the right of the sink there is a dish drainer.  It holds the dishes and they dry there.  It is blue, the color of the floor and the cabinets.  Above the sink there are two windows.  The frames of them are painted blue.

More blue cabinets are to the right and left of the windows.  They, too, have little, white, round handles.  Below the cabinets on the counter there are all sorts of things.  There are two stoves quiet close to each other.  The bigger one is an off-white color.  It is located near the floor and comes up about to your waist.  It has four black burners that are circular.  There are knobs that turn the burners on and off.  There is a big long handle on it that inside it is the place where you bake bread and other goods.  The other stove is black and alot older than the other one.  It sits on top of the counter and it quite small.  It is used just for baking.

A knife holder is beside the smaller oven.  It is made of wood and has many knives placed into it.  There is next to it a jar that holds quite a few spatulas and other soup spoons and things used for cooking.  Other pots and pans are on the counter.  A toaster and a popcorn popper sit side by side on the countertop.

In the middle of the room there is, what we call, a chopping block.  It looks alot like a table, but is much smaller.  It is made out of wood and is quite thick.  It is strewn with powdery, white flour.

The refrigerator sits against the wall to the right of the entrance.  It is an off-white color and shines when light hits it.  It is about 5 feet tall and is covered with magnets.  Little ones that look like pigs, cats, and so on.

Example 2

The kitchen I am going to describe is my kitchen at home.  There is a doorway but no door you just walk in. My kitchen is very big.  It is all white, and all wooden.  It has four walls, a ceiling with a light fixture, and a red stained tile floor.  To one side of the kitchen is a medium, brown wood table with four legs.  There are four chairs at the table.  They are about as big as the table and they are made out of wood.  Moving to the next wall is a small gas stove.  The stove is a deep orange color.  It is all metal wth a wooden frame around the four sides.  It has five burners.  To its left up on the wall, is a shelf where we keep different spices.  The shelf is small, white, and made out of wood.  There are eight spaces on the shelf.  Under the gas stove are three big shelves where big empty jars are stored.  They are a light green color and they are wooden.  Above those shelves are two, big, wooden counters.  The first one is beside the gas stove. It has no color, but it is very hard.  Above that counter are some places where pots and pans are kept.  Now, the second counter is over lapping the other counter.  It too is wooden and has no color, but is very hard.  To the other wall is our electric stove.  It is big and white.  It has four burners, and an oven under it.  On the top, there is a clock, and under that are two light switches for the oven light and the stove light.  Next to the switches are the dials to turn on the burners, and turn them off.  Next to the stove is a sink.  There are two sides of it.  In the middle is a faucet.  There are two handles.  One is for hot and the other is for cold.  Next to the sinks is a very small, wooden, colorless counter.  The coffee maker sits on that counter.  Above it is a cabinet where we keep our cups, plates, and so forth.  On the other wall is the refrigerator.  It is big and a light green color.  It has a freezer at the top and the main part of the refrigerator at the bottom.  There are handles on the door to open and close them  Lastly, there is a small white, wooden shelf where we keep different cookbooks.  As you can see, above I have described my kitchen.
