HOUGHTON MIFFLIN HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS
These words are lists of sight words that are in our first grade reading series. These sight words often don't fit into "traditional" spelling patterns. Many of them cannot be sounded out phonetically.
The words are introduced during our reading themes. Themes change about every three weeks. Below are charts of words in each theme. Check the weekly newsletter to see what theme we are currently working in. A list will come home each week with these words to study.
